peeling wallpaperrude cafe staff

The room had an evaporative a/c unit only. It barely cooled the space. peeling wallpaper and chipped paint added to a general sense of shabbiness. I thought, this needs a serious update. plus, the cafe staff was rude and blamed me for a wrong drink order. the bath security rail was loose too. It wasn't safe when i got in and out of the shower.

i found the location convenient close to transportation options. the staff assisted me with directions and local information efficiently. the room had a useful kitchenette which helped with preparing small meals.

i noticed the sound insulation was minimal. i heard train announcements clearly from the nearby station even with closed windows. this made restful sleep somewhat challenging.

small roomineffective air conditioning

the room i was assigned was disappointing it was smaller than i anticipated. i had requested a quieter room fearing noise from the station but was given a "courtyard" room. this courtyard turned out to be a tiny 3mx3m space inside the building. moreover the air conditioning was quite loud and ineffective adding to the discomfort .

Great Spot Near the Station!

The room was close to the train station. I did find it very useful. The staff gave us free transport passes for our stay, great to travel by trams, trains, and buses. The room included thick duvets making the bed very comfortable.

My room was a bit warm, so I opened the window.

It was nice to have a TV that show many channels.

The noise was a real problem. Street noise and train sounds came right through the windows and thin walls, and it was not easy to sleep. The bathroom was not what I expect from a hotel.
